For no particular reason that I can figure, this week's show turned out to be chock full of country twang, and nothing but.
Plenty of vintage stuff, mixed in with a bit of the more contemporary countrypolitan. I've heard Billy Kirchen call it 'Grange Rock'.
Honky-tonk howl, a trucker tune or two, a wee taste of bluegrass and rockabilly and western swing also along the trail.
